We are incredibly proud to announce that TwentyFour IT Services is the Headline Sponsor for this year's Doncaster Business Awards, taking place on 11th December 2025. Read the official announcement here.
This announcement comes at a time of exciting growth and strategic innovation for us.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed fantastic local partners such as Doncaster Frenchgate, Pass Logistics, Barnsdales, Urban Burger and many more. Alongside our continued support of brilliant local businesses such as Doncaster Chamber, Doncaster Knights, Active Fusion, Dawson & Burgess, Cartonplast, Centurion and over 120 other local businesses.
In the last decade, we have built a reputation as a trusted, creative, and personable IT Support and Cyber Security provider for businesses across the local and wider region. We have worked hard to establish strong relationships and partnerships throughout the local Doncaster Business community, and it means a lot to us to become a recognised and trusted voice.
In 2014, TwentyFour IT Services was named Small Business of the Year, a proud moment. However, late 2017 marked the beginning of incredible growth. We have gone from a nine-person team to a team of 50 people across three offices. We now support over 14,000 users in 16 countries, 24/7/365.
Some may know us from our partnerships with Doncaster Knights, where we have been shirt and kit sponsors, or maybe from sponsoring the 2024 'Doncaster, What’s Next?' Business Conference, or just from being active members in the local business networking community. In 2023, we proudly sponsored the People’s Choice Award, and in 2024, we sponsored the Large Business Award, where we were also runners-up for both Customer Service and Campaign of the Year.
Taking on the headline sponsorship for 2025 has felt like a natural progression for us.
We have always dedicated ourselves as champions of our local business community, whether it be by sponsoring other local events throughout the region, hosting our own events, delivering educational content to local businesses, or just sharing our insights.
For us, it is incredibly important that we support our local business community and provide them with the tools, knowledge, and resources to help them succeed. Our hospitality box at Castle Park has become a regular meeting place where local businesses connect and learn.
Over the past two seasons, we have been able to invite more than 80 different members of the local business community to join us for food, drinks, and the social atmosphere of Doncaster Knights home games. Additionally, we’ve delivered talks on Cyber Security, AI, and Automation, and worked with local schools and colleges to educate students about online safety.
This year, we expanded on our community-led brand awareness campaign by launching our own video content to educate people on different topics, such as AI, Cyber Security, and more. We have also launched our own podcast, The DNload, where each week we sit down with different members of the local business community to talk tech, cyber and AI, share insights, and spotlight the fantastic work being done by their businesses across the local region.
It is important to remember that our growth hasn’t just been in head count; we’ve heavily invested in people, training, AI, automation, and cyber security solutions. We are also proud to play a part in projects like the Doncaster Tech & Digital Hub and the AI Growth Zone.
With over 120 local clients and an average customer satisfaction rating of 98% throughout 2024 (20% higher than the average for the IT Support and SaaS industry), it should be clear that we are committed not just to being a strong voice for our local business community but delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are not just a technology company, we are a people business. We work to understand our clients' business so that we can help them to achieve their goals. By doing so, we can help local businesses succeed and be a part of ensuring Doncaster is on the map of business excellence.
Speaking on the announcement, Tony Houlihan, Chief Technical Officer, summed up how he felt about this sponsorship and what it might mean:
“Winning Small Business of the Year in 2014 was a turning point for us, and over the past decade, we have gone from strength to strength. Becoming headline sponsors of this year's Doncaster Business Awards is just one of the ways we are trying to give back, support, and celebrate our local business community. The awards are more than just a reason to have a few drinks with 900+ local business leaders, they are a celebration of Doncaster’s talent, innovation, and spirit, and we are honoured to champion that.”
Mike Smith, our Managing Director, added:
“We see ourselves as the 5th emergency service, but for business. Our job is to enable other companies to concentrate entirely on what they do day to day. We believe in supporting the growth and excellence of local businesses, and in supporting the Doncaster Chamber, who do an excellent job supporting the local community and promoting that Doncaster is Great. To that end, it makes sense to us to, in turn, support these business awards.”
Jade Dyer, COO of Doncaster Chamber, welcomed the announcement:
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome TwentyFour IT as the Headline Sponsors of the Doncaster Business Awards 2025. Their commitment to supporting and championing the local business community is truly commendable, and their involvement in this prestigious event reflects a shared passion for celebrating success and driving regional growth.
We applaud TwentyFour IT's reason for stepping into this headline sponsorship role — to recognise the incredible work of local businesses and to give back to a community that has played a vital part in their journey. That sentiment captures the true spirit of the Doncaster Business Awards: celebrating resilience, innovation, and collaboration.
Sponsorship of the Awards is not only a powerful way to support the local business ecosystem, but also an excellent opportunity to raise brand profile, align with excellence, and engage with a wide-reaching professional audience.”
The 2025 Doncaster Business Awards will take place at Doncaster Racecourse on 11th December, with finalists announced later this summer.
We cannot wait to celebrate the incredible achievements of our local business community with you all!
